Celebrate the tiny pollinators that help our gardens bloom with this hands-on sensory and crafting adventure! šš«¶
This month's Wonder Box includes everything needed to create a Bee Hotel, complete with a wooden box, hollow sticks, and my natural paint set so little crafters can design and decorate a special home for solitary bees.
Crafters can also explore and imagine with the Lavender Bee Sensory Jar, filled with lavender-scented, turmeric-dyed yellow rice and black beans to create a cheerful bumblebee color palette. Inside they'll discover fuzzy bee pom-poms, colorful flowers, a scooper, and a honey dipper for endless scooping, pouring, and pretend play. (This will also soon be sold separately!)
The fun continues with a Build-Your-Own Honeycomb Craft using noodles and glue. Once complete, the honeycomb becomes an engaging addition to sensory play, inviting children to create bee habitats, sort treasures, and spark imaginative storytelling.
